Anum, along with her husband Ahmed Uzair, holds the record of being the first Pakistani couple to ascend any of the world’s 8000-meter peaks. Their feat was realized on Mount Manaslu, which, at 8163 meters above sea level, is the 8th highest mountain in the world.
Adding to her accolades, Anum is now part of the pioneering all-women expedition team striving to summit K2, the world’s second-highest peak at 8611 meters. She is passionate about representing Pakistani women and blazing a trail for future mountaineers.
