The Audi R8 has done a rather fabulous job dethroning other supercars in Pakistan. As fast as it is pretty, the Audi R8 is considered to be one of the most desirable supercars built to date, definitely kicking things up a notch.
This daily-drivable rocket ship houses an insanely powerful 5.2-liter V10 engine, equipped with a bolt-on and fully reversible VF800 supercharger, pushing the numbers to over 710 Nm torque/808 horsepower at the crank. It features a titanium alloy Akrapovic Catback exhaust system with a gutted catalytic converter, producing an impressively thunderous roar.
Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission, which shifts at lightning speed, and assists Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system, this mind-boggling German technology ensures all the power is efficiently delivered to the asphalt. With these components working together, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, with a quarter-mile time of 9.9 seconds.
The excitement grows as the revs go up, and it’ll rev all the way up to 8500 RPMs, redlining till it maxes out at a top speed of 326 km/h. It sits on a set of eye-catching 20″ bronze forged Vossen M-X6 wheels, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s, making the color scheme look similar to the Decennium. The front spoiler and the perfectly sculpted rear wing are from Vorsteiner’s VRS Aero program. When combined with a magnetic ride suspension, they give the car the stance of a vicious bison. The fuel consumption is around 4 km/1 liter on 91-octane fuel, but as we all know, miles per gallon don’t matter when you’re getting a thousand smiles per gallon.
