In 1997, New York’s Met Museum showcased ‘Flowers Underfoot,’ featuring Mughal carpets woven near Lahore Fort in the 1580s. Inspired, Lahore Carpet recreated nearly 30 of these designs and hosted an exclusive exhibition celebrating 75 years of craftsmanship and the city’s artistic legacy.
