    The Only Brownie Recipe You’ll Ever Need

    In the Mindful Kitchen, every recipe invites you to slow down and savor the process. We believe cooking is more than just preparing food—it’s a chance to be present, to create joy, and to nourish both body and soul. 

    This month, we’re sharing two comforting classics by Maham Ali—a dedicated doctor by profession, a passionate baker by heart, and a true food enthusiast. Let her recipes add a touch of homemade comfort to your day and wrap your table in warmth.

    Ingredients:

    200 g dark chocolate (chopped)
    ½ cup unsalted butter
    ¾ cup granulated sugar
    ½ cup brown sugar
    3 medium eggs
    Pinch of salt
    1 tsp vanilla essence
    ½ cup all-purpose flour
    ¼ cup cocoa powder

    Method:

    1. Preheat your oven to 350℉ (180℃). Line a 7×7-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
    2. In a heatproof bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together using a double boiler or microwave. Stir until smooth and glossy.
    3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and both sugars until light and creamy.
    4. Add the vanilla essence and the melted chocolate-butter mixture. Mix well until fully combined.
    5. Sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Gently fold into the batter using a spatula, being careful not to overmix.
    6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
    7. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
    8. Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing into 9 squares.
    9. Enjoy your warm, rich, and fudgy brownies!
